Hello! Welcome to my blog! I’m Nathalie Ricaud, a Professional Organiser, based in Singapore. I help individuals and families declutter and organise their homes and time so that they can make the most of their lives. I know it may sound weird to some of you, but I derive a lot of satisfaction when I help transform a cluttered and chaotic space into an efficient and harmonious one.

My clients all face similar challenges
- They own too many things (clothes, books, toys, medicine, kitchenware, paper, etc.).
- Clutter in the home has them feeling overwhelmed and stressed.
- They don’t socialise at home very much, because of the disorganisation.
- They spend money buying things they already have but can’t remember they have, or can’t find.
- There’s never enough time to get done everything that needs to be done.
- There’s even less time (if any) to enjoy the things they truly love to do.
These things take a major toll on someone’s happiness, peace of mind, and the quality of their relationships with family and loved ones. And that’s what drives me in my work. Seeing the transformation that happens, in families and in individuals, when simple but effective systems and solutions are put into place to get organised and take control of their daily schedule.

My passion for organising started as a child
I was raised without systems or schedules. My mother had a habit of procrastinating on important things until the very last minute. And my father collected loads of stuff over the years that led to an overstuffed, cluttered garage. Looking back, I’d say organising things was my way of creating the structure that had been absent up to that point in my life.
Far from being negative, these experiences were my first inspiration to enter the world of organising! So, at the age of 11, I began volunteering to sort things out around our neighbours’ houses. Ever since then, I’ve felt passionate about helping people get organised and assert control over their space (through organisation) and their schedule (through proactive time management).
Becoming a mother made me appreciate the value of having all things organised
I spent over 20 years in the Logistics industry, optimising warehouses’ space utilisation and revamping their processes and systems to increase efficiency. I loved that work, but it was missing the personal element. There’s a big difference between organising a commercial warehouse vs. organising the home of a family who wants to improve their happiness and relationships.
That became really clear after the birth of my son. I was travelling quite a bit at that stage, and I needed to establish systems so that our household could run efficiently, even while I was gone. I once again saw how organisation and time management were so crucial to keeping a family happy. Then my friends started to seek my guidance in creating order in their homes. And so I began to look into Professional Organising as a career. I became more and more certain that this was my calling. But, I must confess it took me a while to take the leap and start my own business.
Get Organised & Beyond allows me to blend my passion, skills and personal and professional experience for my clients’ benefit.
