dealing with procrastination

Procrastination is a tough habit to break. Even though I teach my clients practical solutions to deal with procrastination, I must say that there is much more to addressing procrastination than time management skills. In fact, I believe that before attempting to find solutions, you should ask yourself these 2 simple questions.

Why adopt a routine schedule

The importance of having a routine schedule

Do you ever feel like there just aren’t enough hours in a day to get things done? That you have little time if any to do the things you truly enjoy? Are you struggling to juggle work and family? Well, these are common issues that many of my clients face. And my first recommendation is almost always to adopt a routine schedule where they assign a time and day in their week for all the activities that are important to them, whether it is driven by a professional target or by a personal aspiration.

travel with kids

Christmas is soon approaching. For some of us, it’s an opportunity to visit family back home, for others the opportunity to discover new horizons. plan your meals in 5 easy steps

Meal planning is a key pillar in our home. Being able to put a home-cooked meal on the table on time without worrying whether we’re missing any ingredients and ensuring that we’re having a balanced diet remove in my perspective a huge amount of stress from our lives. I just wouldn’t be able to operate without it. What about you? Do you plan your meals, or do you believe, like most people who don’t, that it’s hard work? Well, let me demonstrate to you it doesn’t have to be.

How I got more done when I quit being a perfectionist

by 1 September 2016 Nathalie Ricaud Leave a Comment

Quit being a perfectionist and get things done

We all complained that we haven’t got enough time for the things we have to do, and even less so for the things we enjoy doing. But how many of us are happily entertaining our perfectionist side? Well I know it’s pretty ironic for someone considered as an expert in time management to admit this, but I am… It’s taken me a very long time to realise that no matter how big my achievement was, the satisfaction I was deriving from it was very short lived. In the meantime, in my quest for perfection, I had sacrificed sleep, family time and personal time – maybe some would add sanity!
